Health and Safety Advisor

Health and Safety Advisor required to join a leading multi-national Hard/Technical Facilities Management company. You will be working on a broad range of projects, varying in size, value and environment, based in and around London.

The company is offering entry onto the Health and Safety Diploma as part of your ongoing development.

The company covers energy, engineering and facilities services and prides itself on increasing the use of low carbon energy and delivering groundbreaking energy solutions.

They deliver term Technical Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance contracts.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Carrying out site audits and inspections.
Writing reports on Health and Safety performance.
Undertaking incident and accident investigations.
Collating Health and Safety data and statistics.
Completing monthly SHEQ summary reports.
Writing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation and industry standards.
Attending safety meetings and communicating and implementing any actions required.
Providing Health and Safety training and mentoring.
Creating and delivering Toolbox Talks.
 
The company are offering £35k-£40k plus car/allowance, pension and other benefits plus entry onto the Health and Safety Diploma and career development. 

Ideally 18 months+ experience working as a Health and Safety Advisor within construction or engineering projects. This could have been gained in a FM or M&E contractor environment.

NEBOSH General and/or Construction Certificate. Knowledge of ISO systems and their implementation is desirable.
