- Description
- Environmental Advisor required to join a long established infrastructure consultancy firm.
Duties include;• Provide advice and support for the preconstruction team regarding the environmental constraints• Raise awareness of key environmental issues and input into site training.• Assist the Enabling Works Contractor on the full range of ecological mitigation co-ordination.• Assist in writing of site environmental documentation.• Assist / challenge the design of the environmental assets and reviewing the models for all environmental topics Ecology, Landscape, Archaeology and Built Heritage, Watercourse diversions, Water resources and flood risk, Waste, Contamination land, Noise & Vibration, Fencing, Land and Air Quality, Agriculture, Forestry and Soils that are to be produced in the MIDP.• Assist in ensuring that construction methodology and programme is compliant• Liaise with project managers/agents to gather all information needed for DJV to produce Dust risk assessment and Noise & Vibration Assessment Construction and Scoping Vibration Assessment
The is mainly a project based role with the ability to work from home factored in.

- 3-5 years experience in the construction/civils project environment is essential
- Qualifications
- Qualified Environmental specialist or a related discipline is desirable; membership of a relevant professional body is advantageous
