Description

Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant required to join a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, providing expert advice across both Health and Safety and Fire Safety. The role involves working with clients in the construction, commercial and residential sectors throughout the South Midlands and Northern Home Counties.

Duties include:

Conducting Health and Safety audits for a variety of clients.

Carrying out Type 1 and Type 2 Fire Risk Assessments in accordance with current legislation and best practice.

Providing clear and concise reporting, highlighting risks and recommending practical solutions.

Advising clients on compliance with relevant H&S and fire regulations.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Keeping up to date with industry developments, legislation and best practices.

Travelling regionally to meet and support clients.

Experience

c2-3 years’ experience in H&S audits and fire risk assessments.

Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation.

Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Self-motivated, reliable and client focused. 

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or Fire Safety) desirable.

 

This is a hybrid and flexible home-based role paying up to £50k plus car allowance, pension and healthcare.
