Health and Safety Consultant Manager - Energy Storage

Health and Safety Consultant Manager required for a fast-growing company at the forefront of electricity storage solutions, developing and operating cutting-edge, self-contained battery storage units across the UK.

As an experienced Health and Safety Manager you will lead safety strategy and embed a culture of best practice across all levels of the business.

The role is for a well-known, respected Health and Safety Consultancy, on secondment to the client.

Duties include:

• Lead and develop health and safety systems, policies and procedures.
• Champion a strong safety culture across teams and subcontractors.
• Deliver training, guidance and support to ensure full compliance on all sites.
• Conduct audits, inspections and investigations and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage H&S responsibilities under CDM Regulations (experience as Principal Designer highly desirable).

 You’ll Be Working With:

Mechanical engineers, site teams, subcontractors and senior leadership to ensure storage facilities are safe, compliant and efficient from installation to ongoing maintenance.

• Proven experience in a senior H&S role from a relatable and transferable industry i.e. energy, engineering, mechanical and electrical.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
• Bonus: CDM Principal Designer experience or APS membership

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 H&S qualification)
• Chartered or working towards Chartered IOSH (CMIOSH)

Location: London (Hybrid), with some national travel.

This role is paying c£65k-£75k plus 10% car allowance, pension, healthcare, life assurance and more.
