- Description
Project Health and Safety Consultant required on a contract basis to operate as a Client-Side Safety Representative.
The role is to provide support across two projects. One in Bolton for 2 months and one in Leeds for 3 months. You will be required for 4 days a week, spending 2 days per week at each location.
Immediate start required.
The role is paying c£290 per day Outside IR35 and can be run through your own Ltd Company or an Umbrella company.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of contact for all health and safety matters on behalf of the client.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure the implementation of safety procedures tailored to the specific needs of the project.
- Provide ongoing safety training and awareness programs for personnel involved in the project.
- Provide recommendations for preventive measures.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders as necessary.
- Check RAMS of contractors on site
- Experience
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Consultant on construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.
- Qualifications
Relevant certifications or qualifications in health and safety i.e. NEBOSH, CertIOSH status.
