Description

Health and Safety Advisor required to join a leading multi-national Hard/Technical Facilities Management company. You will be working on a range of PFI projects, on the M62 corridor between Liverpool and Huddersfield, so ideally you will live close to Manchester.

The company is offering entry onto the Health and Safety Diploma at around c12 months employment, as part of your ongoing development.  9001 Lead Auditor training is offered after 6 months.

The company covers energy, engineering and facilities services and prides itself on increasing the use of low carbon energy and delivering groundbreaking energy solutions.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Carrying out site audits and inspections.
Writing reports on Health and Safety performance.
Undertaking incident and accident investigations.
Collating Health and Safety data and statistics.
Completing monthly SHEQ summary reports.
Writing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation and industry standards.
Attending safety meetings and communicating and implementing any actions required.
Providing Health and Safety training and mentoring.
Creating and delivering Toolbox Talks.

Experience

Ideally 18 months+ experience working as a Health and Safety Advisor within construction or engineering projects. This could have been gained in a FM or M&E contractor environment.

Qualifications

NEBOSH General and/or Construction Certificate. Knowledge of ISO systems and their implementation is desirable.
 
The company are offering £30k-£35k plus car allowance, pension and other benefits.  Entry onto the Health and Safety Diploma, 9001 Lead Auditor training and further career development
