Junior Construction Health and Safety Consultant to join a professional services consultancy company.
You will be fully supported, upskilled and trained to enable progression within the business and your career.
The company (who also own training companies) can offer further education i.e. Health and Safety Diploma/NVQ route, in-job mentoring so to achieve CMaPS and CMIOSH status. Progressing from Junior Consultant to Senior Health and Safety Consultant, CDM Advisor and Principal Designer.
This is a home based role offering flexible working arrangements with a connection to a local office. You will be based in the East Midlands, as projects are located across this region.
Duties
Working collaboratively and shadowing colleagues to enable you to develop and carry out the following duties:
Visit construction projects.
Undertake audits and inspections.
Compile reports on findings.
Reviewing RAMS.
Assist in accident and incident investigations, reports and lessons learned.
Attend design and site meetings.
Assist in managing projects to the agreed project budgets and timetables.
Assist in the preparation of health and safety documentation for contractors and others.
Provide full Construction Health and Safety services to clients.
- Experience
Some experience in Construction Health and Safety. This could have been gained in a construction contractor, consulting, or other related sector. What is important is your desire to progress your career, maximising the opportunity.
- Qualifications
NEBOSH General or equivalent as a minimum.
NEBOSH Construction or further vocational qualifications are preferred but not essential.
The role will involve regional travel so a driving license is essential.
