- Description
- Health, Safety and Quality Internal Auditor required to join a well-established construction consultancy company. You will join the compliance team in ensuring compliance in Health, Safety and Quality management systems. Providing guidance on development and maintenance of policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and ISO standards.
You will provide client-side professional consultancy services in a variety of sectors including commercial, education, Healthcare, residential, retail and sports.
This is a hybrid role and can have a connection to regional offices based in Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester or Leeds.
You need to be willing to travel regularly and stay away from home if required.
Qualified candidates with experience in Quality, Safety and Health management systems are encouraged to apply.
Duties
Reporting to the Company Health and Safety Manager, your dutieswill include (but not limited to):
Undertaking regular audits of all services provided to external clients on construction projects.
Supporting the Health and Safety manager in providing health, safety and quality advice and guidance on policy and procedures as required to employees.
Undertaking quality and safety internal inspections and audits.
Assisting in developing the certification process and achievement of ISO45001 and integration of current ISO9001&14001 systems with the new ISO45001 standard requirements.
Maintaining existing Health and Safety management systems and assisting with Health, Safety and Quality internal and external audits.
Monitoring Health and Safety legislation and maintaining legal compliance.
Reviewing and investigating accident statistics and reports on health, safety and welfare.

- Practical experience within the ‘Client side’ construction industry.The role has a bias towards Quality systems and standards, which the balance of your experience alongside Health and Safety knowledge should reflect.Demonstrable experience in a similar Quality, Safety and Health role.Awareness of the Building Safety ActExcellent knowledge of the CDM RegulationsExcellent IT and communication skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Teams.
