Description

Graduate Health and Safety Consultant required to join a multi-disc construction sector consultancy.

You will be fully supported and trained to enable you to perform the role of Health and Safety Consultant and Principal Designer.

Duties of a Health and Safety Consultant and Principal Designer include:
Visiting project sites across the Home Counties to undertake audits and inspections.
Compiling reports on findings.
Learning how to manage your own projects - being the key interface between and liaising with the Client Teams, Design Teams, Principal Contractors, and others to deliver projects.
Assisting in providing CDM advice and support to Client Teams.
With support, carrying out thorough reviews of site project information and construction drawings, and identification of design, construction and maintenance risks through Design Risk Reviews.
Attending Design and Project Meetings as required throughout projects.
With support, you will prepare, co-ordinate and distribute relevant Health and Safety Information to other design and project team members.
Assist with preparing and issuing Fee Proposals, notifying clients of additional charges and obtaining Purchase Orders as applicable.
Working collaboratively and shadowing colleagues to enable you to develop and carry out duties.
Ensuring that knowledge is kept up to date, in terms of safety legislation, construction methods and processes and other associated legislation.

This is a regional role supplying service to clients primarily across the Home Counties. The business has an office in Bracknell with home working flexibility offered, including some flexibility on working times.

This is an excellent role for someone starting out in a Health and Safety Career. The company are offering £25k plus training and other benefits.

Experience

Previous experience is not necessary. Strong Microsoft package IT skills.

Qualifications

You will need to hold a recent degree in any subject, which demonstrates your ability to learn.
