Description
Graduate Construction Health and Safety Advisor required by a multi-disciplinary consultancy to be responsible for supporting and assisting internal and external clients on construction health and safety services.  You will also be required to support senior members to fulfil their roles of Principal Designer/CDM Advisor.  Construction projects are across broad sectors and will include Housing, Offices, Hotels, Education, Retail and Health, commercial, leisure, energy and more.
 
This is a regional role supplying services to clients across Birmingham and is offered on a hybrid working basis.
 
Duties:
Working with support, you will:
 
Assist with writing policies and procedures.
Attend meetings as required throughout projects.
Assist in carrying out site inspections and audits.
Review construction phase plans and method statements.
Assist with preparing pre-construction information.
Write up project progress reports.
Set up projects and provide administrative support.
Support senior staff as required.
Provide CDM advice to contractors.
Work to deliver the role of Principal Designer (CDM 2015).
 
You will be provided with further training and development to enable you to carry out these duties as a consultant in your own right.

This role is ideal for a graduate preferably with a design or construction related degree.  The company are offering £35k - £45k plus car allowance, healthcare, pension, life assurance and more and a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a world-renowned company.
Experience
Awareness of the CDM regulations and associated legislation.Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
Educated to Degree level ideally within design or construction related degree.IOSH membership status.NEBOSH qualifications or equivalent would be advantageous.
