- Description
- Health and Safety Manager required to join a multi-national Hard/Technical Facilities Management company at Sizewell in Suffolk. The contract supports FM and a changing site environment as mobilisation to construction moves forwards.
The role is predominantly Health and Safety as the company employ a dedicated Quality and Environmental Manager but a working knowledge and understanding of Environment and Quality Management would be beneficial.
Duties include:
Providing Health and Safety advice, guidance and leadership to the Operation and Projects Team.
Actively improving Health and Safety standards.
Completing monthly Health and Safetydata reports.
Keeping up to date with legislation and Company standards.
Developing and managing risk assessments, audits and Inspections and ensuring all actions are followed through to completion.
Assisting in maintaining Health and Safety records.
Delivering Health and Safety Induction programmes and training.
The company is paying c£45k plus car allowance, health and pension.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a QSHE role. Experience within a hard facilities management or Mechanical and Electrical environment would be ideal but experience gained in other backgrounds will definitely be considered. Experience of CDM and Project works.
- Qualifications
- You will ideally hold or be close to attaining the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. Ideally or working towards GradIOSH status. Strong communication skills - ability to advise, guide and support colleagues on industry best practise. Desirable:Internal auditor qualified.
