- Description
- Senior Health and Safety Consultant to join a multi-disciplinary professional services company operating across diverse sectors and projects. This includes projects in the Construction, Demolition, Education, Highways, Residential, Retail sectors and more.
You will join the business working closely with Project Managers coordinating operations and work delivery for multiple projects across a Northern region. Providing Health and Safety advice and services to internal and external clients.
This is a hybrid role split between, home, office and work sites.
You will have worked in the consultancy sector and have a proven track record of providing competent health and safety advice in a multitude of project environments / sectors.
Support in the collation and development of bidding / tender responses.
Carry out safety monitoring visits to Client’s sites and carrying out audits against site safety documentation.
The company are offering £50k - £55k + car allowance, pension schemes, life assurance, and other benefits and on-going training and development.
The role involves travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays. - Experience
- Demonstrable experience within Health and Safety, most likely gained within a consultancy/client-side sector environment.
- Qualifications
- EssentialNEBOSH General and/or Construction Certificates or equivalent.A good understanding of the relationship between the construction design process and CDM 2015 and experience in working in that space on projects.Hold a full UK driving license.Desirable IMaPS, TechIOSH or GradIOSH with an aspiration to work towards either Chartership or Fellowship in an accredited professional body.A good working knowledge or qualifications in auditing of ISO 45001 and other relevant Health and Safety standards.Evidence of relevant further specialist training and experience, including CDM, and evidence of regular CPD.
