Description
Environmental, Health and Safety Consultant required to join a professional services consultancy company.  Servicing multiple client accounts, you will provide Environment, Health and Safety support in a number of key service areas across clients property portfolio's.
This role is 75% biased towards Environmental duties and responsibilities, supported by 25% Health and Safety service provision.
The focus of the role will be to act as the internal advisor and consultant to the client. You will manage projects to ensure that the client’s Environmental, health and safety strategy is delivered.
 
You will be responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of an excellent service to clients. You will develop and deliver operating models, systems and policies.  You will have an excellent working knowledge ISO14001 and ISO 45001 accredited Management Systems, being able to demonstrate significant experience writing and developing systems. This is a key part of the role.
 
Duties include:
Responsibility for the writing, developing and management of ISO14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
Developing and maintaining new site mobilisation processes and procedures.
Reviewing RAMS for permit requests on a variety of maintenance and other related projects.
Conducting site surveys and completing a suite of statutory and mandatory broad ranging assessments.
Monitoring and reviewing corrective actions.
Reviewing, updating, and re-designing management policies and procedures.
Providing advice project teams on compliance.
Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
 
The role offers hybrid working. Your time will be split working from home, the office and making regular client site visits.

Experience
Demonstrable experience with strengths in writing Environmental Management Systems. Supporting experience in Health and Safety.Ideally lead auditor qualified.Significant experience of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.Experience of undertaking EH&S audits and inspections.Experience gained in all sectors will be considered. Client side or/and consulting experience would be beneficial.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health and Safety or equivalent preferred.Progressive IEMA membership.Progressive IOSH membership
