- Description
- Health and Safety Manager to work on civil engineering, infrastructure and RC frame projects primarily across London. The company provide an integrated construction service from design conception, through to planning and construction. They pride themselves on high standards in Health and Safety support and management.
Duties- Working with line management to assist in fulfilling Health and Safety responsibilities to maintain Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits and inspections to promote best practice and identify areas of unsafe working conditions.
- Promote and implement the Safety Programme, advise on the Safe Systems at Work, Construction Phase Plans and Environmental Management Plans and compile monthly Health and Safety progress reports.
- Experience
- c5 years experience in Groundworks and/or Concrete Frames or related Civils.Demonstrable experience within the construction industry, ideally with a large sub or Principal Contractor. A good practical understanding of the principles of Health and Safety legislation. Exposure/and understanding of Environmental Management and Sustainability principles would be beneficial.
- Qualifications
- NEBOSH Construction or equivalent as a minimum and preferably further Health and Safety qualification. You will ideally hold GradIOSH and be working towards CMIOSH status but this is not essential.
