- Description
- Health and Safety Manager required by a global developer to provide on site Health and Safety support as part of a team on a £600m East London residential development. The position reports into the Head of Health and Safety with responsibility of a dedicated team to assist in the delivery of objectives.
Duties
Assist with CDM compliance, developing relationships with designers and contractors
Work to ensure project Health and Safety objectives are met
Assist in the development and implementation of project Health and Safety strategy, plans, policy, procedures, initiatives and communication.
Implement project assurance, performance indicators.
Carry out risk assessment, learning, governance, contractor review, statistics, accident and incident investigation.
Write and deliver monthly reports
The role can be offered on a hybrid basis, with on-site and home working flexibility.
The position is being offered on an Employed PAYE Agency Contract basis until early-mid 2024. AWR applies. More information can be provided and discussed with interested/suitable candidates wishing to progress. - Experience
- You will have progressing your career and have c4 years+ experience in construction health and safety. Most likely gained with a construction contractor firm on larger complex sites.Previous high value, high rise projects within a developer, client side or PC environment would be advantageous.
- Qualifications
- You will be hold or be close to achieving the NEBOSH Diploma and GradIOSH status or equivalent.
