Description
Health, Safety and Fire Consultant required to join the team of a dedicated Health and Safety services consultancy to fully support the UK Health, Safety and Fire Manager with respect to operational delivery to their client, a global banking and financial services group.
This is to meet legal obligations and to minimise the risk of injury, property damage and business interruption that may arise from accidents, incidents, fires or enforcing authority action.

Duties include:
Advise on issues at buildings through site visits, risk assessments, written and verbal communications. This involves regular interaction with Business management, Regional Offices, Corporate Real Estate and contractors working within buildings.
Investigate serious accidents, incidents, or fires to minimise the risk of reoccurrence.
Assess Health, Safety and Fire risks to staff, the public, contractors and others, recommending action to reduce risk.
Advises on complex or technical queries relating to all Health, Safety and Fire issues including legal compliance, management policy and procedures, safe working methods and building regulations.
Collating information for Health, Safety and Fire related improvement work in the buildings.
Work with the Project Co-ordinator in planning and delivering the service.
The role will involve regional travel.

Experience
You will have significant medium to long term experience gained in a similar corporate property environment.
Qualifications
BSc Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health, NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety or equivalent.Will be required to be, or be working towards CMIOSH status.Ideally a Corporate member CIEH and a Member of IFE.
