Description

Environment, Health and Safety Consultant required to join a professional services company.  Servicing multiple client accounts, you will provide Envinronment, Health and Safety support in a number of key service areas as well as managing health and safety projects and initiatives across property portfolio's.

You will have an excellent working knowledge of ISO:45001 and ISO: 18001  Management systems and will be responsible for to the ongoing development and delivery of an excellent service to a blue-chip clients within the corporate sector, developing and delivering operating models that meets the needs of the modern office environment and best practice risk management, embracing changing technologies, office environments and working practices.

Duties include:

Responsible for the management of ISO 45001 and ISO 18001 systems

Developing and maintaining new site mobilisation processes and procedures.

Reviewing RAMS for permit requests on a variety of maintenance and small build projects.

Conducting site surveys and completing a suite of statutory and mandatory broad ranging assessments.

Monitoring and reviewing corrective actions

Completing and reviewing event risk assessments

Reviewing, updating, and re-designing safety management policies and procedures

Providing advice to refurbishment project teams on compliance

Required skills

 

The role offers hybrid working. You will need to live within reasonable access to London and expect site visits c2-3 times per week.  Remaining time will be spent between home and the office.

The company offer on-going professional development and training, be it BSI Auditing courses, to Health and Safety Diplomas.

Experience

4-5 years experience working within a large multi-site organisation. This could be civil service, higher education, corporate office space, for example. Significant experience of 45001 and 18001 Experience of writing policies and developing procedures Experience of a corporate office environment ideal.

Qualifications

Hold the NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) Ideally lead auditor qualified.
