- Description
CDM Consultant to manage the health and safety elements of building projects. Identifying and eliminating any foreseeable health and safety risks to projects from conception to handover. Working across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, education, retail, residential and master planning and infrastructure.Role:
To plan, monitor and coordinate health and safety risks in the design phase in construction projects.
Assist and advise clients in bringing together pre-construction information, and provide the necessary information to designers and contractors.
Carry out health, safety and environmental inspections and audits during the construction phase, and identify and analyse trends from injury and near miss reporting.
Provide proactive assistance in ensuring best practice is maintained with regard to CDM, through training sessions, support services, input into the maintenance of internet/intranet documentation, and operational procedures.
- Experience
- Sound knowledge and experience of health and safety within a construction environment.Strong working knowledge of the CDM regulations and requirements.Passion for CDM.
- Qualifications
- CMaPS membership.Additional qualifications in building, construction or engineering desirable.
